On Saturday afternoon, November 19, there was a deadly two vehicle accident in Kansas City, Mo.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 1.40 p.m. on westbound 50-Highway near Missouri-131. A Harley Davidson motorcycle being ridden by 59 year old Mary J. Savery of Warrensburg, Mo. was heading southbound on 131 and collided with a Jeep which was westbound on 50. Savery was killed and the driver of the Jeep was not injured.
This particular intersection is notorious for accidents as there was a serious crash at the end of August, and earlier in the year, in March, 15 year old Shirley Tran who was in a Toyota Corolla along with her 20 year old sister and a 20 year old friend, was killed when a 32 year old woman driving a Dodge Avenger, failed to yield at the intersection and pulled out in front of them on Missouri-131 and 50-Highway.
